Face washes (or cleansers) are products that help remove dirt, sweat, excess sebum, dead skin cells, makeup, sunscreen, and other debris from the skin. To patch test a cleanser, simply use it as instructed above on a small area of your forearm. Allow 24 hours to see if any signs of irritation appear.
You can use a face wash up to two times per day. Everyone should cleanse their skin at least once a day in the evening to remove any debris on the skin. Those with drier or more sensitive skin may prefer to only cleanse once a day, while those with oily skin may prefer cleansing twice a day.
